Terms of service
Effective September 2026.
1. The service
OFC Lab is a downloadable study tool that computes expected values for Open Face Chinese poker formats and the Taiwanese two-board game on your own computer. It is a training aid, not a gambling product: no real-money play takes place in or through the software.
2. Accounts and trials
You need an account to use the solvers. New accounts receive a free trial of 25 solves over 14 days. One trial per person; creating multiple accounts to extend a trial may result in suspension. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans (Pro and High Roller, monthly or annual) are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your account page; access continues until the end of the current paid period and no further charges are made. Prices may change with 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
4. Refunds
Email support within 14 days of any charge and we will refund that charge in full. After 14 days, charges are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: share your account; circumvent solve limits, entitlements, or licensing checks; redistribute the software or its solution libraries; or use the software for real-time assistance while playing online, which violates the rules of every major poker site. Breach of this section may lead to immediate revocation without refund.
6. License
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use OFC Lab on machines you own while your entitlement is active. The software, engines, and generated solution data remain our property.
7. Availability
Solves run locally on your hardware. The app verifies your subscription online and tolerates up to 7 days offline between check-ins. We aim for high availability of account and licensing services but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Solver output is statistical analysis for study purposes; poker results depend on many factors and we make no promise of winnings. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email before they take effect. Questions: contact support.
